Enabling Stability & Security
Too many communities and regions across our world continue to be deeply affected by war, conflict, strife, or simply a pervasive lack of good governance which leads to lawlessness and criminal activity. Here at The Heracles Group it is our mission to work in these communities, enabling them to become stable and secure.Rebuilding Infrastructure
Conflict and post-conflict communities require a variety of reconstruction and refurbishment support. This work is usually in the areas of water, education, health, and transportation. Heracles has conducted assessments in 100’s of communities affected by war and, over the last several years, has completed multiple projects in the areas of water pumping stations, community centers, and food security.
Health and Medicine
Conflict results in life long injuries that require routine support. In the areas previously controlled by ISIS, there are tens of thousands of victims who have lost limbs due to the fighting. Heracles has four projects throughout these communities affected by ISIS which provide 3D-printed prosthetics to those who cannot afford medical support. These projects also provide physical therapy to amputees, those who have experienced significant muscular or joint damage, and those suffering from degenerative conditions which affect their mobility. Heracles has provided over 200 prosthetics to amputees along with various forms of physical therapy support to hundreds more.
